Between The Peaks

Photp Courtesy- Google

In the crude
Surge in notions
I stand
Between the peaks
Wondering where to start
The pieces of metal
Reflect the lights

The last kiss
Pushed you from the flight
The  pain in your eyes
Promised to meet again
You floated in the air
Trying to take control
Hit the ground

Submerged in thoughts
Darkness reaching out in your absence
The bliss of love
Enlightening the mind
Without saying goodbye
I will not leave you
The obstacles may be there
but you are my strength

Waiting for you

                                                             Thinking about
                                                          you in the autumn,
                                                      lawn is greener waiting
                                                       for your footsteps and
                                                         watching the rays of                       yours,
                                                         grinning you spread                     your gleam.
i wonder why you                  wake up so early,
i see birds on the                   fence getting a tan
and your flares                     shining on their feathers
No wonder why                        you admire the view
I start watering the                        plants on the ground
you create rainbows in                       the showers of mist
the breeze bringing the                            fragrance of love
the bees buzzing around                              relishing the buds.
the sunflower twists herself                             to make you see
i feel annoyed telling her off but                             she snubs me
I whisper I am not ready to share                   your love with anyone
you whistle to the cloud that comes                 across and travels far
I laugh at you pointing at the piece of         mist that is glowing behind
the butterfly robs the honey I saved         for you to have in the night
the leaves start telling the stories of       the days you miss in the east
I begin to compose the music that         will amuse when you emerge
the birds fight when I throw the grains to keep them busy in the plot
I do not like the way they act  but I keep calm smiling at your ways
the time is a reminder to let you go where stars are blinking at you
in the twilight I create a portrait      with the shadows to keep you in
another day of hope I stay here        waiting just to see you again

Reminiscing

Passing days of flittering feelings
I keep reminiscing about the green
When his rays ravished the blues
Delighting in the glowing scene

Shades of grey brushed the hair
Pampering breeze rubbed the sweat
Pondering through the field of grain
I heard his flutes under the net

Caterpillar crawled on the leaves
Bees so fond of  nectar they found
Frogs were croaking from the brooks
Nature’s love was glowing all around

Drifting clouds unfolded the symmetry
Wished to sway with the one I adore
In the scented air he floated in glee
I moved to the mountains to soar

Midnight Breeze

Rushing in the frosty morning
I missed the beautiful dews
Though my views were covered
In the haze I roamed in blues

Throwing my focus to flies in the mesh
You brushed my hair from behind
Hiding behind the bushes to frighten
You extracted the honey you found

Waiting for you on the cloudy day
I heard your tunes in the meadows
From the forest you walked in
I cleaned the mud from the shoes

Tweeting birds drew the season
The fog shielded the way to the woods
I stepped into something soft
Trembling in terror I gazed at the goods

Midnight dreams sweating me down
Wondering where I left you to spark
A sudden surprise when I saw you near
And in my dream I emerged from the dark

Heart

                        The                                             day
                     I painted                                     the  field
                  Where you                              started your life
I sketched a heart                      that belongs to you
The colours I selected                    you might not approve
You never assured with love         words that I wished to hear
Floating in the cloud I saw the          rainbows that hid in between
I called them to join me on the        journey of friendship we shared
Instead they revealed the insight  of your heart you concealed so long
I wondered how they recognised you better but I wispered to you more
Emptied in thoughts I came and asked you how you passed your day
There was nothing to exchange, and the hours passed like minutes
I pointed to the garden of flowers where the sun made them blush
There were bees buzzing to grab some honey in the meadow
Their wings spread the charm to buds with colours of love
With rays of hope I wished to hear a solo from you
You chuckled and labelled me the day dreamer
How could I tell you what was in my mind
I puzzled with your choice of colours
Red I chose to impress you
                       The portrait dangled
                          Could I read you?
                            I heard again
                              The word
                                 Crap!
                                  Did
                               I?

Shining Star

Miles away, you the star

Twinkling with your shining eyes

All night long you made me wake

Sparkling with love that would arise

Flipping through the story book

You read the stories aloud

I travelled in the fantasy land

There you made my bed up in the cloud

I swept the rays of delight

You pulled the string that holds

I shivered in the gusty breeze

Showers covered the page that folds

You tossed the coin to choose

I pointed to the one that would amuse

As you winked from the darkening sky

From so far away I paid my dues

Thoughts of Summer

Beneath the tree shade for shelter

Galloping through the flood of thoughts

Morning dews dropping on the cheek

Peeping sun reflecting on the top

Lazy breeze brushes it away

He engraves the beauty on the ground

Cheering children play in the alley

She calls them for dinner to eat

Moving noise echoes slowly

Sneaky cat looks at the butterfly

Trying to catch it with her paws

Moving object teases with a stir

Sun is shining in the sky

Clouds are moving with rhythm

She is throwing bread onto the garden

Birds are gathered for a fight

Making sure their beaks are full

Groups are assembled on the branches

Water fountain soothes the surroundings

Mists are sprayed to the dazzling  blooms

Lovers are resting on the grass

Lips are locked for a while

Eyes are closing from the beauty

Time to rest, that’s what I need.
