Restlessness

With the sudden tightness I squeezed myself
The burning sensation made me restless
Shadows frightened in the darkness
And the screams echoed inside

The teardrops didn't make a fuss
But the pillows rumbled on each pinch
The bed creaked with discomfort
And I ignored their murmurs for my ease

The music was loud to enhance the mind
Noises of ghosts troubled around me
My ears were sealed to listen to melodies
And my eyes were blind to see empathy

I started loving the pain that shielded my bosom
The smile on me embraced the new visitor
I danced to the beats that I found
And the stage was empty to make a symphony
