Love is a Pain

After having my son around with me for some time, he left for university today.

Love is a pain

Runs through blood

Pushes the heart

Nips you into flood

Love is a pain

Covered in silence

Sleepless nights

And losing your balance

Love is a pain

No medicine found

Fighting to self

Memories compound

Love is a pain

Hate to self

Anger surrounds

To spread to oneself

Love is a pain

Wished not to butt

Droplets of tears

Stored in my gut
