Wake up Call

In the comfort zone
I was afraid to change
When the impulse was lost
I ignored that I kicked myself

Being the leaf in the stream

In the rhythm of waves
I was loving the cosiness

Whirled with the travellers
And assurance in the floating
Within the studious joy
Forgot the swirling tide

Rowers vanished one by one
I miss where I was heading
Wonders disappeared
The wake up call, a blow to my head
