Encroaching thoughts in the misty morning
You pulled the waves from the shore
In the swirl of an unleashed stream
Drifting along the coast once more
Faith and fond of inflowing clouds
Changing colours in the gleams
Reaching dusk repelled the daylight
Oceanfront seemed far from the dreams
Sinking in the warmth of heart
I fetched a pearl to have a start
Where I lost my wings to fly
Unveiled as the sea played its part
Deep in the blue I curled to cure
Hazy views obscured the sight
Rapid chillness dragged me down
No-one there to see my plight
